The
Practice
East
End Lodge has been a family dental practice for over 55 years,
providing the full range of treatment to the highest standards
in a relaxed and caring environment.
East End Lodge was originally built in 1898 for Lady Brickwood
of Brickwood Ales in Portsmouth.
In 1940s the house was converted to a single handed dental surgery
and family home. Dr. Peter Cole and his family moved to this house
in 1962. The family lived upstairs and Dr. Cole used downstairs
as his surgery and reception area. Eventually the family moved
out and the whole house was then redecorated to create 4 more
surgeries. Dr. John Lippett started as an associate in 1990 and
became a partner later on. Dr. Michael Cole (Dr. Cole’s
son) joined the practice in 1992 and has been a partner in the
practice since. Dr. Barbie Lloyd eventually took over from Dr.
Peter Cole in 1997. After birth of her twins in 2004 she decided
to spend more time with her family and therefore left the care
of her patients with Dr. Gita Azizi in 2005.
