A Dental Therapist receives specialised training in treating children's teeth and oral hygiene. Our therapists, under the prescription of a dentist, are licensed to treat children's teeth, place fillings in adult teeth, extraction of children's teeth, administer local anaesthesia, take radiographs, provide fissure sealants, apply fluoride varnish, scaling and cleaning in children and adults, and root canal treatment in children's teeth.  

Our Therapists are a central part of our team, allowing East End Lodge Dental Care to achieve our primary focus of enabling our patients to protect themselves against dental diseases, thereby reducing the need for repairs and restorations - "prevention is better than cure'!
